Atharv Kotekar
I'm learning neural networks and the math. Everything below is what I built before that.
2022
Kolhapur Forever
I was fifteen. I built an Android app for my city: news, listings, and live scores from the neighbourhood football tournaments. 23,703 installs.
I shut it down in December 2022. The football committee asked me to stop publishing scores, because their tournaments ran on ticket sales. Separately, the server bill passed the ad revenue, because I had built the backend without knowing what a request cost.
2019
The repair shop
I was twelve. I worked at a computer repair shop in Kolhapur. Repaired laptops, reinstalled systems, recovered drives.
Outside the shop: pulled and terminated fiber cable through buildings, installed CCTV cameras and the recorders behind them.
2026
Bombay Locale
Three feature-length AI-animated films. Every shot is generated separately, so faces and rooms drift between cuts. Holding one consistent across 75 minutes is the problem.
I was one engineer on the team. I worked on where a training signal for "this shot is good" comes from.
2023-24
Cognitive Classrooms
Won the New York Academy of Sciences Junior Academy Innovation Challenge, on an international team across India, Qatar and the United States. I built the part that generates a syllabus from a student's assessment results.
2025
Localhost
Resident hacker at the LocalhostHQ hacker house, Delhi NCR. 20 founders, 50 days to build.
